Winter is well underway, bringing all of the normal weather and holiday cheer along side it. Now is the time of year when t-shirts and shorts are packed away, making room for sweaters and flannel jammies instead.
Fashion is all about rehashing the sorts of years gone . Of course, you don’t want to seem like you’re stuck during a bygone era, but it’s always fun to recreate a vintage, timeless look with a contemporary twist.
And let’s face it, there’s something special about throwing on your mother’s (or even your grandmother’s) vintage clothing and making it your own. Plus, you’re nearly always bound to stand call at vintage outfits during a sea of identical mass produced clothing.
Stay warm a la mode with a vintage winter dress from a variety of retro eras. We’ve got an array of styles that will work in winter weather, from corduroy minis and pinafores to 60s shifts and 80s shirt dresses.
Camel coats will rock a polo neck, dressed down with jeans and studded ankle boots. Try leather pants an oversized blazer and retro trainers as an alternative. Grab warmth from a sheepskin-trimmed jacket or a fluffy faux fur topper, or choose a wrap coat on milder days. Oversized scarves, to be worn during a million ways, are still trending for winter 2016 – we especially just like the reversible ones.
